Further to last week's show, this week's Stay Peaceful will continue to discuss ideas surrounding Peace and Protest.
We hear about protests everyday. Many large protest movements such as Occupy Wall Street and Occupy NRA and Idle No More have become almost de rigeur in our society. Protesters can be found on every continent, involved in practically every kind of cause. Many protest movements have to do with calling for peace or an end to war.
Some ideas that will be discussed further:
- What are the impressions that people have of people who protest? Are these sets of impressions accurate?
- How do we engage in protest without losing an attitude of peace?
- What is "peaceful demonstration"?
- How do the Occupy movements and Idle No More align with the ideals of peace?
- Can we protest as a means of achieving peace through consultation, or does the action of protest deny such action?
I hope you can tune in.
Stay Peaceful,
Jason
